My Style Inspirations.

I have multitudes of styles. I love dressing in every style of clothing. One day I could be super into grunge clothing and the next day I would want to dress in cute vintage dresses with collars. It all depends how I am feeling that day. Sammi Maria aka BeautyCrush, Vanessa Hudgens, Alexa Chung, Kylie Jenner, and Miranda Kerr are just some of the few people I look at for style inspiration. All of these girls have very different styles but what they all have in common that inspires me so much is that they all dress true to who they are.

Sammi (BeautyCrush) has been my absolute favorite beauty youtuber and blogger for as long as I can remember. I love her because her style never is limited to one type. She can go from something extremely casual, for example, a light sweatshirt and shorts to a cut out dress in the matter of a video. Her outfits are always gorgeous and she really does not follow trends but follows what she likes and feels comfortable in. It is incredible how much I relate to her style wise because I love street style and dressing up basics! My favorite videos I have seen on her channel is definitely her lookbook videos. Her lookbooks give me a lot of ideas for outfits and also show me some must have pieces. I also am deeply in love with her natural curly hair and numerous tattoos, I think they both really represents her and really brings her outfits together.

I don't know about you but I fell in love with Vanessa Hudgens ever since High School Musical came out. I absolutely adore her street style- I love her red carpet style too! Vanessa never ever fails to disappoint me with her outfits. Vanessa strikes me as the girl to say "I will wear what I want to wear whether you like it or not." I admire how she can go from boho to girly in the matter of seconds. Her style is very versatile. These are some of my favorite outfits on her. There are so many more but these are the first ones that came to mind.

Being close in age to Kylie Jenner, I look at her fashion style a lot for inspiration just because I have tons of the same pieces she does. If I am feeling more laid-back and casual i'd wear high rise shorts and a crop tank with a statement necklace and some doc martens. If I am feeling more fancy i'd wear a midi skirt with a more elegant crop top and some high heels. I think Kylie has such an amazing sense of style for her age, that not many people understand.  I've seen post about what Kylie wears saying that it is "too much" for her age and that she should not be wearing what she wears. These posts often confuse me and upset me. I do not believe that there is an age for fashion. Kylie pulls off her outfits better than anyone could and personally I think she is inspiring for that.

Miranda Kerr is my absolute favorite model in history of model. She is so elegant and classy - no wonder why everyone is in love with her! I love how Miranda always looks so effortlessly well put together. My favorite outfits of Miranda tend to always be one where she is wearing pencil midi skirts. I think those are her best looks. They fit her incredibly. The way she styles the skirts are beautiful with a simple blouse. It's so effortless and gorgeous. When I want to dress up but am too negligent to do so I always get inspiration from Miranda. I feel so elegant and well put together without barely doing any work. My favorite outfits Miranda has worn are all street style outfits that look absolutely amazing on her.

Last but very not least, Miss Alexa Chung. Now if you don't know Alexa Chung has been my biggest role model and inspiration for a long time now. She is everything i've ever wanted to be. I love how she loves a more vintage 60's vibe in her clothing. I think she is so unique and her style is so insanely gorgeous. I always love to look at her outfits and find new pieces I love and try to find those online and recreate her look. I see her best looks in blue or grey colors and it's fantastic for me because those colors compliment me best. She is the most inspirational person in my life for fashion, beauty and lifestyle. She's absolutely amazing.

A Shopaholic's Guide to Looking Good For Less.

I am a shopaholic - there I said it - but normally when I walk into a store I go straight to the sale section - I mean who doesn't? I really love fashion, don't get me wrong, but with my allowance and budget I just don't think i could spend over $50 on various tops and blouses (if i had the money I probably would though.) Going to the sale section gives me a huge selection of items that are rarely ever priced higher than $50 - that is at the stores I shop at.
Some people may think that you need tons of money to look amazing and feel amazing - truth is that you don't. Most of the time you can find similar pieces to the ones you like at thrift stores which can save you tons of money. Also if you know someone who is trying to get rid of pieces they own and do not wear anymore you can go and shop through their old clothes - it's a win win situation. If you see something in the store that you absolutely love and just have to have it, but it is way too costly, come back in a couple of weeks and most likely it will be marked down by at least 25%.
The store I highly suggest is H&M. H&M has been my absolute favorite store for a couple of years now - come to think of it much of my wardrobe is from H&M. To be completely honest with you, I don't even just shop in the sale section of this store but the whole store! Their prices are incredible for people on a budget. It's especially great for people who lean more towards the high fashion world. They just have amazing pieces that look like they came straight off the runway. If I could make a motto for H&M it would definitely be: "High Fashion Clothing for Less." Their Quality is also quite astonishing; I've had a hand-me-down dress from my older sister - that was from H&M - for quite a while, which is still in great condition. And although H&M has a lot of high fashion clothing it's not limited to that, they have little sections of everything: basics, grunge/hip-hop, girly, floral, monochrome, preppy, chic, there is something for everyone! This goes for men as well, they have absolutely amazing pieces for men which are great quality and stylish. (I always try to convince my brother to shop here!) Another great thing about H&M is that it is amazingly affordable. Their prices go up to $200, but rarely any of their clothes are more than $100. They also give a 15% discount to students during the beginning of the school year, which helps a lot of students get their back to school shopping done.
