Dressing Up Band Tee's

You can't go wrong with a band tee - they are the ultimate shirt. It is a symbol of who you are while helping support your favorite band or artist. Trust me, the music you listen to can tell a lot about you. Band tee's are perfect for multiple occasions because you can dress them up, yet, you can dress them down.

We all know, from previous posts, that the Arctic Monkeys are one of my favorite band. This is one of my favorite tees for a couple of reasons: firstly, it's one my favorite band so I have to represent; secondly, it's extremely comfortable and lastly, it will work with everything in my closet.

I love this look. It has the look of sophistication and classiness. The pleather skirt and sweater alone dresses it up but adding the jewelry and heels really sets the look.

No one likes to  put effort into their look - it's true. I think in today's society we all try to make everything look or actually be so effortless. The more put together an outfit looks the less effort it took and the more effortless an outfit looks the more effort was put into it - crazy right? I love that this outfit looks like it took me time to do, when in reality, this outfit took me seven minutes- tops.

Kim Kardashian West's Best Looks

Let's be honest, ever since Kim Kardashian has been linked to artist, Kanye West, she has been on everyone's fashion radar. She went from a terrifying eye shadow matches handbag matches shoes matches jewelry matches whole outfit fiasco to a look that made us say "is that all?" to finally stunning, sexy, bombshell. Even the Kardashian herself said ever since she met Kanye she dresses more "cooler." These past couple of years she has taken so many fashion risks that make all of us want to take more fashion risks. From deep plunging necklines to casual chic showstoppers, here are my top five Kim Kardashian looks.

5. Modern Mod

This look is her indescribably stunning pick from her latest perfume launch in Melbourne, Australia. Personally, it looks like a modern take on 60's mod. I love how she paired the latex textured dress from Atsuko Kudo with the nude suede pumps - they compliment each other extremely well. The dress also suits her curvaceous figure fantastically. As well as the color flatters her skin tone.

4. Couple Matching

I am obsessed with this Balmain his-and-hers tuxedos for two reasons: first, she pulled it off so well and secondly, it matches her husband, Kanye. Being a huge fan of Balmain, as Kimye is, I love the piece by itself. I love how she did not add any heavy jewelry and let the tux speak for itself. The shoes were perfect and did not give distraction from the dress. The way she styled her hair and makeup as well just completes the outfit flawlessly.

3. Laid-Back Surprise

Every time I see this outfit, I am in awe. Seeing it from the front makes you think "Okay? What else is there?" but once you see the back it's like your eyes have been opened. I love how laid-back and casual this is - anyone can wear this. I love the subtle cutout in the back that makes the outfit pop. I also think that the light wash jeans really made the outfit, where as a dark wash jean - in my opinion - would not. It is simply eye-catching.

2. Paris Paradise

This look is gorgeous. It's like she is an angel sent from Heaven. It's flowy and it's beautiful. The high slit and low neckline work amazing together. This is what a fashion risk is. Taking two things that are supposed to only be worn at once and wearing them together. There is not much more to say besides "wow."

1. Do I Need To Explain Myself?

I stand with my title for this outfit. For me, this is by far Kim's best outfit. She's a mom and she's able to pull that off? Not only is the outfit beyond astounding but just look at her hair and makeup. Kim as an entire whole is absolutely perfect. We all know how I love plunging necklines and well, she pulled it off here - as always.

Yes, Kim Kardashian has a stylist but in the end it is her decision on what she wants to wear. I take a lot of fashion inspiration from her and I firmly believe she has one of the best styles on this planet. For being a mother and a hardworking lady on the go she knows how to dress. In the end, people can hate her for whatever reason but that's not going to deny the fact that she is a fierce bombshell.

My quote is for this post will be in a gif format because it seems more necessary this way.

Dangerous.

The female body is beautiful and deserves to feel that way. I think women should be allowed to show off their assets in the best way they can, through clothing. Plunging neckline dresses play up much of women's best asset - boobs - in the classiest and sexiest way. Looking back through previous years, plunging necklines have been highly popular along the likes of Kim Kardashian, Victoria's Secret Angels, and Selena Gomez.

The Look

Dress - Ann Taylor / Blazer Coat - H&M / Shoes - H&M

When I planned this look, I wanted it to be dressed up but also wanted a casual feel to it. The incredibly jeweled dress and platforms really make this look look like it took effort. If I am going to be honest with you, this dress is backwards - yes, you heard me correctly, backwards. In the original design, the plunging happens in the back while you have a high neckline of jewels in the front but I took a look at it and thought "this would look amazing from the back" and voila. That goes to show that clothing and fashion is versatile. I added the baby pink blazer, in case of weather conditions or for those who would like to be more modest. The hair is also a big part of what makes this look relaxed. It was bed head. The day prior, I had my hair curled and woke up to this. I think it really completes the relaxed vibe.

This look would be good for a date with your significant other or for a night out with your friends. This look would also be great for those of you going to school dances like prom. If you're attending a formal event or a wedding this would look nice with a messy updo or simply just like this.

I didn't accessorize much for this outfit because the outfit already speaks for itself. I think if there were to be anymore done to this, just throw on a cute cocktail ring and grab a clutch and the outfit is complete.

This is one of my favorite looks I've styled because it is such a effortlessly sexy outfit. It took me about five to eight minutes to get this all together. It also is very daring, as fashion should be. Fashion is meant to take risks. You don't have to put a lot of effort into looking glamorous, you just have to play your cards right.

MALE MODELS GALORE

I love my women models, but I feel like the male models do not get enough attention. Men in the modeling industry are mocked all the time by men in reality because modeling is "a girl thing" - which is a very naive way to think. These men are incredible for doing what they do, in a predominantly a female line of work. If I could write a book of all my favorite male models I would, but here are my top three favorites who kill me in every photo.

1. Marlon Teixeira

As everyone knows, I am in love with Marlon Teixeira. The 6'2 Brazilian model is my favorite male model - no, not because he is incredibly attractive - well, maybe. He is definitely one of the stereotypical male models who have the nice body and are extremely attractive but there is that extra hint of something that differentiates him from the rest of the cliché male models - that is his posing style. The way he uses his body in photos is a lot different than how I've seen other male models use theirs. He has a way of taking a more "feminine" pose and turning it into something.

2. Shaun Ross

Shaun Ross is a male model who has greatly impacted me. He is a stunning American albino model. I greatly admire how he does not let his condition get in the way of his life. He takes his condition which is looked at as something terrible and makes it beautiful. His modeling is some of the most stunning modeling I've ever seen. Ross knows body language, he knows facial expressions, he knows how to be a model. In honesty, There is not a photo of Ross that disappoints me. Shaun Ross is - for lack of a better term - walking, living and breathing art.

3. Lucky Blue Smith

Lastly on my list of male models, Lucky Blue Smith. I've just recently found out about Lucky Blue this past year. What I'm about to say next is not me swooning but I was blown away with the first photograph I saw of him. When I found out he was my age, that's when I wouldn't believe it. It is incredible how he is putting himself out there at such a young age. I think he has an amazing fresh, new look and in a couple years he will kill it in the business.
