Long time, no chat! I love spring hair trends; they're always fun and flowy. Mermaid waves are probably one of my favorite looks ever. They always come out during spring and summer and look AMAZING. It's so easy and effortless which is all the more to rave about.
If you're anything like me, you take the least amount of time doing your hair. My hair is extremely thick and decently lengthy, so as you can imagine my go-to hairstyles is my natural messy hair or a messy updo - I apparently like messy hair.
The method I use to get these gorgeous waves involve no heat and even more exciting- NO TIME.
After washing your hair, first what you are going to want to do is part your hair however makes you comfortable.
Next, you are going to split you hair into two parts and french braid each side.
This next part is probably my favorite part, SLEEP. It's much easier to do these waves overnight, but if you want the waves for a night time event leave the braids in throughout the day and they should be waved by the time you go out.
When you finish letting the braids set, this should be your finished product!
For extra texture and hold, I applied Bumble & Bumble's texture creme.
This is a great and easy look for spring and summer. I love hair and think everyone should experiment with different styles, cuts and colors! I'm definitely going to be styling my hair like this for the beach and any summer barbecues!
